I just purchased an Amazfit GTR 2. I actually like the watch but can only seem to get notifications and not respond top them. Is there anyway to respond to notifications?

For some strange reason Amazfit does not let you respond to notifications even though the hardware allows it. There are some 3rd party apps that allow this to work. The most popular one is the "Notify for Amazfit & Zepp". Can be found on the Google Play store. Allows notifications but you lose music control

So I gave the Notify app a try. Seems to work ok. Sometimes I get double notifications but the ability to have canned responses is good. Will try it out for a bit more.
Really all these workarounds for notifications are not the greatest. Problems with duplicates, no emojis and partial messages are common.

Just wanted to report back. While the Notify app is not as polished as Zepp, it really makes the notification experience much better. Really like that I can respond back to messages now.
