Came across the Zepp smartwatches recently. They have 2 models, the Zepp E and Zepp Z. Any relation to Amazfit? Think there might be since Amazfit changed their app to Zepp.

Amazfit and Zepp are related. Huami the manufacturer behind both acquired Zepp in 2018. Perhaps they will position Zepp as the premium brand.

Personally I think the Zepp watches are a rip-off. The Zepp E has a worse screen, no GPS and worse battery life than the Amazfit GTR2, yet it costs more. Not worth it.

While the Zepp watches look stylish, I am surprised they don't come with better materials like titanium case or sapphire glass like the Huawei GTR 2 to justify the premium price.
Amazfit are better bargains for sure.
Zepp Z has a titanium case. Personally I think the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro looks a bit nicer, has Sapphire glass and costs $50 less. That being said, beyond the looks, most people would be better off buying their more affordable siblings.
