WearOS has been plagued with bugs and slow bug fixes for years.
Coupled with low performing hardware and poor battery life has turned many people off of this platform.
So far Google hasn't shown any commitment to this platform.

If they actually fix this issue, there might be light at the end of the tunnel for a turnaround on Wear OS.
It appears that Google may have fixed this issue:

That is good news if it works across all / most models. Seems the current fix is hit or miss depending on the model. At least Google is paying attention.
